Anyone like to see Bush address British Parlament?
Could just see that! His three word halting way of speaking and the yelling by them everytime he says something they don`t like. To funny.

2. only as long as they promised to treat him like they do their own
with all the booing and yelling when something ridiculous is said. that would be funny, poor w would probably start stuttering and blabbering even worse than he did yesterday

7. He'd get rattled by all the noise, for sure!
Probably throw a MAJOR hissy-fit so they'd have to hide the guy who carries the launch codes to keep the Shrimp from calling in a strike on Yorkshire...

"It was awful, Poppy! The fuckers GROWLED and HISSED at me! I fuckin' VAPORIZED Scotland!"

"heh-heh...'At's m'boy!"

8. he couldn't handle an audience that's mumbling in disagreement
Blair as speaker, and sell-out congress as audience worked out beautifully: loads of spin and newspeak receiving one standing ovation after another.

12. With the exception of Maxine Waters
who I noted, in the brief glance I could tolerate, was not clapping or standing (there may have been others), it was nauseating to watch the stand on hypocritical ceremony and laud the poodle like he was a returning hero being pinned with a medal. Under the circumstances it was another horrifying display of the "support the troops" mentality that attempts to rally everyone around the disasterous nightmare like it was cause for a victory celebration. Watching Daschle trail in Bliar's wake, continually clapping with a smile painted on his face was a pitiful display. It is "unthinkable" to consider the president would lie, eh Tom?

9. No thanks, and please keep Bliar while you're at it!
I know you don't deserve Bush, but trying to get rid of him this way isn't on!

What did you all make of Bliar's speech, though? That "history will forgive us" bit made me feel sick and paranoid, especially with Dr Kelly turning up dead this morning...

16. I though that Tony made the Americans really long for Clinton
I don't agree with Blair a twit, but it was so refreshing to listen to someone who could at least lie articulately.

14. I would like to see Bush really address the WH Press corps!
Just the way Parliment does it! And I mean the entire Press Corps--not just the favorite sons of the media cabal with planned and programmed questions.

17. He's never faced an audience
that wasn't full of hand-picked Republican lapdogs. He'd totally lose it. Either start yelling or crying. Or both.
