Brokow said this from Iraq.
He is in Iraq still and was doing a story on some Iraq`s coming back to Iraq for the first time in years. When that was over the host of the show asked about the hunt for weapons of mass destruction and Brokow said,' They hope to find something, maybe in a month or so."
Why the month or so statement? These people are going to plant something. it`s getting to hot for them. These bastards will stop at nothing.

1. I saw that ...
David Kaye, Head Weapons Inspector says that they will PROBABLY have evidence of WMD in a month or so. Most likely in the form of Biological Weapons.

What the FUCK could take a month, while they have enough evidence to make a statement like that.

Something Smells Rotten

Cheers
Drifter

2. Kay said in 6 Months We will have substantial evidence of ???

Brokaw interviewed Kay (not Kaye) and Kay says he has documents that he is weeding through and "within 6 months" they would have proof for the American people. Keeping an open mind, Kay said he is already convinced SH had WMD.

3. Well of course SH had WMD
We sold them to him in the 1980's!

The question should be, did he have them in 2003?

9. Now your ticking!!!
This is the question that we all should keep hammering home to the media. We are not stupid! They will find all sorts of documents about nuclear reactors, plans, programs etc. Israel bombed Iraq in the 80's to blow up a nuclear reactor that was alleged to have been for domestic use. This was a clear violation of international law, yet we ignored it and the international community allowed Israel to get away with it. And they wonder why the Arabs hate us and Israel. We supplied Iraq with weapons and bio-materials to get him to do our bidding against Iran. A lot of those bodies being found now are from that war, the mass killings of Kurds which we didn't even blink over, and the dead that we ourselves are responsible for during Desert Storm. Saddam, evil though he was, did not kill all those people and is not responsible for the deaths of all those being found now. Of course we are going to find stuff that we will lie about, distort, and maybe even doctor, to make it look like something that we want to scare the American public with. The big problem is that most of the former Iraqi officials in our custody who have been questioned have told us that the illegal WMDs were destroyed and that the nuclear program was not reactivated. They may have a few stooges who are willing to lie for money and permanent home abroad...but we can not change the harsh reality that we have found nothing, Saddam used nothing against us--although we claimed at the time that he was preparing use bioweapons against our troops--and most of the captured have said there was nothing worth invading for---EXCEPT OIL!

5. WMDs
If he has them, if we produce them the question still is were they an immient threat. Those are the key words. If they are not found and they existed -- where are they and who has them. Did this war make us "less secure". As I see it either way they lose.

8. the thing that may be important here
is if there were wmd's -- who has them now? were they scattered as a result of our our need to destroy something?
did we truly help terrorist organizations by ''giving'' them the material they were looking for all along?
i'm beginning to understand, i think, for blix's extreme caution -- the u.n. has had eyes and ears on iraq along time -- and i think there was purpose in their moving so slowly. but that didn't fit with the corporate goal.

10. I think the mission priority should be examined
Absolutely no series of buildings or ministries were secured in the first few days of American troops in Baghdad EXCEPT the oil ministry.

I think they wanted to remove the Halliburton documents :nuke: :nuke:

11. So What?
Personally, I don't care who has WMD as long as they don't use them. I know that statement is a bit simplistic and naive, but aren't there a lot of countries including rogue nations that already possess WMD?

Browkaw
Brokaw is nothing more than a spokesman for General Electric, Inc. a defence contractor whose bottom line benefits from the Bush* invasion and occupation of Iraq. Everytime he opens his mouth on any subject related to the actions of the US Government there should be a disclaimer noting that he and his employer have a vested interest in the outcome.

I totally agree
NBC/MSNBC are merely the corporate propaganda arms of General Electric.

GE benefits greatly from the Bush wars through their defense contracts, particularly with the AF. It's such a huge conflict of interest that the American public should demand that they divest themselves of media ownership, but the public obviously doesn't care.

14. I wonder if Kay really does have proof of WMD "programs".
He seems to be sticking his neck out pretty far with the "5 miles of evidence". I think most Americans will be satisfied if US shows proof of WMD programs. Yeah, I know. Programs are not the same as weapons. But I fear the majority of Americans will give Bush a pass if conclusive proof emerges of WMD programs. I pray I'm wrong.

15. What's more, Brokaw likely knows exactly what's coming, plant-wise
Brokaw's trip is typical big-headed celebrity journalism. As if Tom will divine some nuances in Iraq we couldn't POSSIBLY pick up from ANY ONE else...

...gag me.
