regarding how they have dealt with the fires, it is appalling how little real news we are getting her in Los Angeles area. There should be much more information/ more complete coverage of road closures, weather forecast, health effects of the air, possible effects on the water and the grid system. Thank God for the internet. I watched about an hour of local news and all they did was show images of houses burning and a dog being rescued. I thought it was totally outrageous when they asked the family to remove their masks so they could be interviewed. That is totally f'd up. The air is dangerous and toxic, and they ask the children to endanger themselves for their ratings.

I can only imagine how bad it is closer to the fires.

If you or anyone has information on the california local news stations, post it. They need some calls.

on saturday as we awaited evacuation there wasn't anywhere we could get info--nothing on tv--nothing on radio--just regular programming crap still going on.

today as we tried knx radio 10.70 to find out what was happening in Chatsworth there were snippets of news followed by a string of hyper ventillating voices reading one commercial after another.

right now tv news shows the same pictures over and over and on the scene reporters do their human interest stories interviewing the locals. the rest of the time the anchors do their silly chit chat.

is what you are saying. It is irritating if you
live in one of the threatened areas not to know
what streets may be in danger, but I've found
they've been pretty clear about the names of the
areas in general. I give credit to those reporters
in the field risking themselves to be on the front
lines of the fire. I don't know if there was one
place on the Internet that listed all the positions
of the firetrucks etc.? Do you know?
