Schwarzenegger Hires Jeb Bush's Budget Director (we're screwed)
Edited on Mon Oct-27-03 11:34 PM by Flying_Pig
For all those who thought Arnold might be a covert Dem, you can forget that crap. He is a Bushbot of the first order, going so far as hiring Jeb's budget director. Know what's going to happen now in California? We are going to get screwed, day in, day out, by the Republicans. They are going to attempt to rip the social fabric of this state, which up until the budget crisis, was a model for the world.

The irony of bringing in a Bush stooge as budget director, is that it was Bush's friends in the energy business that brought about the budget crisis here in the first place, by ripping the state off for tens of billions of dollars. I am now convinced, that the whole goddamned thing was a set-up from the start. Connect the dots; bring California to its knees through an energy crisis; hurt its businesses, and kill its budgets; then, blame it all on the Democratic governor, with their media allies knifing Davis in the back daily; then, finance, through one of their rich stooges, a re-call election, and put up a Republican "movie star" to win the vote.

Mission accomplished. The Republicans now control this state, and will proceed to destroy it with all of the zeal they have shown in destroying the rest of the country. And to all the stupid, selfish bastards that fell for it, ..... you're going to get exactly what you deserve.

Here's the story on Jebbies budget *itch:

<snip>
When Florida's budget director, Donna Arduin, dressed up as a witch for a Halloween office party, some saw it as a fitting choice for a woman who has overseen severe fiscal downsizing.
For Arduin, it was just reflective of her sense of humor, longtime friend and former boss Patricia Woodworth said. Plus, "it was a little play on the fact that many do see females in these roles as being witches or something that rhymes with witches," Woodworth said.

Arduin may need the costume again before this Halloween, as she comes up with an audit of California's budget for Gov.-elect Arnold Schwarzenegger. While the review is being termed an audit, it is likely to fall short of a detailed, line-by-line accounting of the state's spending, and instead present the incoming governor with an overview of the state's current financial situation.

Faced with a $38 billion shortfall last year, California was left initially with an $8 billion deficit this year, but that number could climb as lawsuits challenge elements of last year's budget solution. Most Democrats believe the deficit cannot be fixed without some type of tax increase, something Schwarzenegger has vowed not to do.<snip>

4. The plan is to cut into the democrats' major fund donors
Edited on Tue Oct-28-03 12:28 AM by Rebel_with_a_cause
That would be state, county and municipal employees (and their union) and education (NEA).

Check out the top ten donors and see which party they give to:

5. These people remind me of sewer rats, they move in, take over a...
place and then spread out, infecting everything they touch and defiling every place they nest.

6. That's an apt description Spazito! What realy interests me though
are the similarities to what they did in Florida in 2000. The are above nothing. They will lie, steal, murder, you name it, to get what they want. Davis was setup like to $2.00 whore (excuse the expression). I also have a feeling there's much more we DON'T know, and possibly can't even imagine, going on behind the scenes. There's a lot of dirty business being setup now.
