I just went over to CNN.
Go over there yourself. Take a look at their website. Ask yourself if there is a little reality problem over there. A problem bad enough in anyone, but a damn shame in a news organisation.

1. MSNBC has been SLAMMING Bush!!
All dayparts, all shows, except Joe Scarborough. EVEN Chris Matthews. It's really refreshing!

2. the poll is my favorite part
They just love to squelch dissent.

They run part of an interview with a general who is trying to shut up the troops.

Then they take a poll without offering any other view towards the soldiers rights to free speech.

Unbelievable!
The greatest abuse of power in Anglo-American history is unfolding before our eyes and CNN runs some fluff piece about kids living better? And anyway, whose kids? There are millions of kids in America that are STARVING!

I am so angry, I could fucking scream!

Why don't we all send em emails...
and complain?

Dear Editors,

I find it shameful that you have NO coverage of the murder of the scientist in london who is specifically connected to the lack of weapons, (much less lack of illegal weapons), lack of illegal missiles, lack of WMDs, lack of mass graves, lack of tortures, lack of murders and every other lie told by the bush administration regarding iraq. It appears now that nothing, absolutely nothing this administration has ever said about iraq for the past 15 years, since donald rumsfeld and paul wolfowitz took charge, is true.

Shame on your covering up for and pandering to this criminal administration instead of having the honor and esteem associated with exposing this crimes of these horrible people.

Shame on you.

10. I just sent this...
....It would seem by your coverage that CNN is either clueless to what really matters in this country or are complicit in the coup taking place by the right wing. If it will help, I have a TV I no longer use since I stopped watching cable and I would be happy to send it to you so you can watch C-SPAN and perhaps cover some real news. You may also consider subscribing to a newspaper or two for story ideas.
Just a thought.

What's your gripe? Their priorities are straight. Top U.S. news story:

See? Kids are doing great under Bush!

(this was their front page picture a little while ago. They've since changed it to a GI playing with Iraqi children)

(on edit I got an error page that told me my first post didn't work and I would have to do it again)

9. That GI is holding on to both of the kids-it looks like he's removing them
and it looks like the kids are laughing at him. I seriously doubt the GI is 'playing'.

6. or how about this letter:
Dear CNN,

I assume you're having technical difficulties on your website. Based on the headlines I see, this can't possibly be news from July 18th, 2003. Either you got it mixed up with a site refresh from 1998, or you're covering stories from a parallel universe.

Thank you.

12. So while a near "putsch" by the Republican in the House of Representatives
was winding down, Judy Woodward of CNN was babbling on about which Washington politician was once voted "Mr. Tight Jeans". I don't really watch anything on CNN anymore other than Crossfire, but I got in at the end of the Inside Politics show to be informed of this momentous event.
