You should feel relief. Good always defeats evil. I'm confident we will roll through Iraq in the face of tens of thousands of people filled with glee over being freed from oppression. We will make short work of Saddam, then you and I will take a vacation somewhere wonderful where I will hold you close with my hands properly positioned. Everything is falling in line and happening for a reason, just like you always said it would. This is my great challenge and I'm facing it happily because it is making me feel cleansed somehow. I will emerge on the other side ready to take you in my arms and begin living life the way it should be lived. I was worried and scared before, but now I feel nothing but confidence and strength coming from the support you are giving me. ..... Look for me in the news, there have been a bazillion reporters here. The CBS guy gave me a hat that I'm going to give to you when I get home. I'm getting videoed and photographed to pieces. It sure does piss off my boys, I try to remind them it's all for the story and the glory, but that only goes so far. ..... I still ain't heard from Adam & Kim, tell them I am going to start sending them threat mail if they don't write. I wish my truck and boat knew how to write, I sure do miss them. Today would be a beautiful fishing day; I can see it now, drop my electronic anchors, kick my feet up on a fully stocked & iced beer chest, good cigar in my mouth, and 3 poles out with hooks in search for that elusive yet lovable catfish. ..... Hollinsaid, 27, of Malden, Ill., was killed April 7 when a crane he was driving was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade.

For a joke, Staff Sgt. Lincoln Hollinsaid's mother wrote a letter to her son's commanding officer: "Please excuse Linc from the army as his mom needs him home. Signed, Mom." Hollinsaid, 27, replied to her, "Cute note. I will be sure to show that to top (first sergeant). I will be on the first plane back. Yeah right."

Soon after he wrote that, his vehicle was hit by a rocket-propelled grenade.

After he died, one last letter arrived.

"Ma," he wrote. "When I come back home, we will have to have another campfire in the garden, but twice as big, with pizza, lots of greasy pizza. Oh lord, I can smell it now."

Nothing. These kids have died for nothing. They are lambs to the slaughter for wealthy corporate bastards who own the White House.

no reason other than the fact that the smirking moron and his pathological buddies wanted a war for their own reasons....It is so horribly sad and pointless....Nothing will be gained...You just want to yell out in frustration!....And now he's expecting my country (Canada) and others to send our young people to become a part of the shooting gallery....He's so disgusting!
