what George meant by "not so ingenious"
That was a slap at his politicos who dreamed up the carrier landing, which now is a big fat hairy albatross 'round his neck. The incident was probably the biggest strategic faux pas in his career.

That's why he said they were "not so ingenious." He slaps the help when they screw up.

1. I know...
...I caught that too. Wonder how long it will be until the talking heads pontificate on it. Perhaps we might remind them that doing a lil more digging might be worth their time. I mean, we know that when Bush talks about having the "highest confidence" in someone, it means their ass is going to be marginalized. What exactly happens to those he expresses displeasure with? Are they taken out back and shot? I know I'm curious. The man is a raving loon to be sure, but it's almost as if for a moment, his mind tried to leap outside the confines of the script that had been written for him. Because you know he didn't use the words ingenious or cassus belli <sp> spontaneously...

Did Rove take him out back and smack him around after that? I think we deserve to know if our unPresident is getting smacked around like a rockem-sockem by someone who thinks nothing of leaking the name of a covert CIA asset to the world.

I mean seriously, isn't it time we started bringing up the fact that this loser seems to be a seriously poor judge of character? His friends are crooks, his advisors are liars, and his closest staff thinks putting national security and the lives of US citizens on the chopping block for political expediency...
