C-span this morning
had two female Reps from congress who had just come back from Iraq. The Dem rep McCarthy(sp) I thought was a waste of air time. She could just as well have been a repug. I hear that Dems don't stand for anything and I could see why watching her speak this morning.
Why the hell do these people keep going over there ,why can't the soldiers that have come back on R&R or injured be given annonymity(sp)and talk to these reps here rather than waste money going over there to be paraded around in selected sites and come back with this good things are happening bull?

suprising, she and the another representative were the ONLY Democrats that went to Iraq.

The British offered the Democrats a plane to go to Iraq. However, President Bush stopped the plane from coming.

Maybe Bush chosed her because she can be easily manipulated.
