Operation AC for Troups in Iraq
On Cnn a lady whose son is stationed in Iraq began a campaign to help provide our troups with Air Conditioners. What prompted this? She got a letter from her son that said the soap she sent him melted and his can of shaving cream exploded due to the high heat. She went and bought him an AC and shipped it to him. She then started a campaign to raise money for the other trouops to have AC's because it looks like they will be there quite awhile. Her web address is as follows and she does include a current weather with forecast of temperatures there:

http://www.operationac.com

This was on the news on CNN just now.

2. They should have 100 Kilowatt mobile generators all over the place.
and they're sitting on more fuel than they could ever use. If U.S commanders can't even divert enough money from the Halliburton contracts to provide electricity and AC for the troops, then they deserve all of the scorn they're getting from the troops and their families.

Air conditioners from home, soldiers buying equipment out of their own paychecks... the hypocritical Bush regime doesn't "Support Our Troops"

3. I just clicked on the link - this is a total disgrace
Our troops are relying on private donations to receive personal toiletry items and something besides MREs to eat (a constant diet of MREs really messes up your digestive system).

Meanwhile, Halliburton is raking in BILLION$

"Support Our Troops" should start in Washington. F***ing hypocrites.

Say what you want about people being stupid enough to join the military - they don't deserve to be stuck in Hell while being completely jerked around by their leaders. Save your scorn for the corrupt Bush regime and the generals sitting in Saddam's air-conditioned palaces.
