Zell endorses the lying awol moron for 04
Edited on Wed Oct-29-03 03:50 PM by nu_duer
Can we kick this DINO out of the party?

snip:

SENATOR ZELL MILLER OF GEORGIA, the nation's most prominent conservative Democrat, said today he will endorse President Bush for re-election in 2004 and campaign for him if Bush wishes him to. Miller said Bush is "the right man at the right time" to govern the country.

The next five years "will determine the kind of world my children and grandchildren will live in," Miller said in an interview. And he wouldn't "trust" any of the nine Democratic presidential candidates with governing during "that crucial period," he said. "This Democrat will vote for President Bush in 2004."

And BEG him to save your state next year!

Zell has to be one of the BIGGEST jerks OF ALL TIME... and now he can add "Quisling" to his resume. Just goes to show how much he REALLY "thinks about his grandchildren"...HA!

43. Max can't help now.
He came close to keeping his seat by constantly pointing out how similar his vote was to Miller's (the most popular politician in the state). The Republican kept going on about how much more he agreed with Daschle than Miller.

Miller obviously won't be endorsing Max for senate next year.

And Zell desiresan Imperial Oligarchy as rife with lies and falsehood as the Old Soviet Union, where only one side is ever told and all news is Infotainment and the Inferiors of the Empire are rightfully ruled by the Superiors whom the Bushevik God (Satan) has ordained.

And no one thinks or reads a book that isn't Bushevik party Approved.

Some future...

Thanks, Zell, you fucking quisling. History shall record your bootlicking Treason in kneeling before Emperor Bunnypants*.

One wonders is Zell a dupe, or is he on the Bushevik Pay Corps?

I support the call to have him booted from the party, or at the very least, deny him any support if he runs for re-election. What self-respecting democrat would vote for any repug, especially that moron who is currently "president"?!?!

Although I live in California, I'm in the central valley, which resembles Mississippi politically. Yet even the few conservative democrats we elect wouldn't say something that stupid. I have so many really disgusting words I want to use right now :grr:

20. The nine candidates need to come out together and say
"Zell Miller is not a Democrat and has never been a Democrat. He has used the Democratic Party to get elected in the South during a time when it was advantageous to do so. He used the label to be appointed to the Senate, and has voted with the Republicans on most every issue. Zell does not hold dear the tenets of our party, and he does not speak for Democrats in his state. If Zell Miller believes that George Bush is the man to ensure a safe, peaceful world develops in the future, and believes that none of the Democratic candidates have better ideas or intelligence, then Zell Miller has not been paying attention. It is way past time for the Senator to admit to his real affiliation and to quit masquerading as a Democrat."

take the message to the heartland!!! To win next year we must win these areas:

Northeast, Westcoast, Midwest, Hawaii, DC, Louisiana, Arkansas, and West Virginia!!!

This will net us 290 Electoral Votes and a BIG White House in DC!!!

(Note)Louisiana and Arkansas are moderate southern states that can be won over with a candidate such as Clark, Edwards, or Kerry!

49. Think about this first.
It was only three years ago that we had both houses of the legislature, the Governor's mansion and both Senate seats.

It could swing completely against us in just four years? The state hasn't changed THAT much - we're just not apealing to them anymore. If we aren't careful we are going to see a lot more "first Republican elected to that seat since reconstruction" news clipings.

There are enough southern states like GA out there who still have Democratic Senators that if we don't stem the tide we will be up a creek (how's that allusion?). The Republicans could OWN the Senate in perpetuity - and since we've now set the example with filibustering judges we could see generations of devestation on the courts.

I won't just say "screw the South" (if for no other reason that I have to live here)

45. Zell is a Banker who Pretends to Be a Man of the People

He seems to look down on most Georgians now. He pretends to be a man of the people but actually he is a banker. Maybe the family business does better when he does what Karl Rove asks.

He seems to have evolved into the consummate opportunist. I do believe he was one of the architects of the plan to get rid of Cynthia McKinney-there was certainly a Bush angle there.

Zell loves to talk about how the Marines made him a man. I don't think he had the opportunity to serve in wartime.

55. Gee, what a surprise.
But not totally unexpected, since Zell didn't seem to care for any of the Dem candidates by the things he's said about them recently.

If Roy Barnes has any regrets from his time as governor right now, it must be appointing this fool to Paul Coverdell's Senate seat.

Even Gene Taylor, one of the most conservative Democrats in the House, has endorsed Wesley Clark. There's simply no excuse for this, Miller's a jerk. Both he and Ed Koch can go jump in a lake.

Why the criticism of Miller? You can't have 100% of what you want. The perfect is the enemy of the good. Besides, Democrats in his area are conservative, so he had no choice. Dems need unity at all costs, and Miller's electability is proven. Nominating a far left socialist utopian just won't cut it; centrism wins.

Is my meaning clear?

60. I just can't figure out what happened to him
Edited on Wed Oct-29-03 05:47 PM by OKNancy
I vividly remember Zell giving a rip-roaring Republican bashing speech at the Democratic convention several years ago. He had everyone whooping and howling.

Was it a slow transformation or did he get scared by 9-11...or bought off?

61. And if it weren't for Zell Miller
Bill Clinton probably wouldn't have been elected president, because Zell's early endorsement of him helped him win Georgia, and this came right after all his problems in New Hampshire. I have no idea what happened to him.
