1. I think he was running and triped and banged his head on a shotgun?
NOT...but I too wonder why there is no indications of the method of death...gun shot....heart attack....not easily ascertained? NOTHING! I agree. :grr:

2. Perhaps they want to do an autopsy first?
The british police aren't as free with investigation info as us amis. That is until they have something definite to say.

Let them do their jobs and then release a statement.

6. Takes a matter of a few hours to perform a preliminary autopsy
This wasn't some homeless guy laying out on the street who was found dead.

3. It appeared they couldn't ID the body just by looking at it so
they seemed to infer he was somehow mangled beyond recognition. Which means he was on a walk, tripped over a root, hit his face against a killer tree, which then beat him into submission with its mighty branches. A natural death, yeppir.

4. very innocent; he took a nap in the woods and the fairies sprinkled too
much dust on him and he didn't wake up. Just wait, you will hear a fairy tale much like this.

5. they're waiting for Scott McLellan to say "we're sad to hear David
Kelly died of 2 shots to the back of the head--an obvious suicide, and we join the British people in mourning."

Then they'll know who perpetrated the crime. Scotland Yard style crime solving.
