Actually, I thought it was legitmate what the guys said. I mean, it builds tolerance and it doesn't have to be the overrriding factor. We are just pulling a demographic group.

I think Bernie is just defending this candidate for mayor or something.

I understand where Bernie is coming from, but I think he is wrong on this issue. But he is presenting a choice between a Green and a Democrat. True, I would rather choose the green because he/she would be a choice in line with that person's values, but I would also like to have a person left of center.

I think with Bernie, it could be party before philosophy. Do you agree?

I would rather listen to Pacifica.

In San Francisco a vote for a Green candidate has no consequences because the Republican Party is not in a position to win elections as a result of Democratic defections to the Left. One could argue that the Republican Party is simply a third party in San Francisco.
