Who gets the 25 million reward?
Does this money come from our taxes?
Was it 25 mill for each brother?
Was it worth 228 of OUR dead sons?

1. Nobody gets it...they are alive
the quotes from the UK don't have the masses jumping with glee over this story.

5. I believe it's 15 million for each. Saddam has 25 million on his head
Probably the informant will get passage out of Iraq. Who the hell wants to live there anyway with 30 million to spend?

6. It's $15 million apiece for the sons.
However, when the $25 million was offered for Osama Bin Laden, it was "up to" $25 million, though the "up to" was rarely repeated.

11. Your tax dollars, of course. . .
but think about it -- it's less than 1% of the monthly $4 billion tab, and a minuscule part of the annual cost of this travesty. The better question, as posed elsewhere in this thread and others, is whether it was (if true, mind you) worth more than 200 dead American soldiers.

Also ask yourselves, do you feel safer today than you did yesterday? Is America safer? I think not.

Whether true or not, this is a PR ploy, and, no, these people in the WH have no shame.

9. 228 + the amount of innocent Iraqi civilians slaughtered...
Which is in the middle thousands, I gather.

It sure as hell was NOT worth it, and only makes Bush look even more sloppy (and vile) than Queasy and Udder, which should be seen as a hard act to follow...

10. it's supposed to be 15 mil each isn't it and whoever snitched them off ...
ought to get the reward although i woulodn't put it past these lying bastards to either refuse to pay or try to steal it for themselves. I would've snitched them off for that much money. Hell, considering what dicks they were (are) I might have snitched them off for amusement, the sorry bastards.

13. My husband suggested
that we probably won't pay the guy at all. What's he going to do, sue us? Who will believe him?

He also said that this will probably help *'s approval rating...for about 5 minutes.

I mention this because my husband is a Republican. But even he can see right through their lies.

14. The "reward" may be the increased peril of our troops
when Saddam retaliates.
