Right wing radio is talking about DU. Another example.

I've heard that Hannity and others have been talking about DU lately.
On Sunday 10/12 I was driving across Illinois when I heard a woman named Teri O'Brien on WLS 890 in Chicago. Teri is a predictable right wing shill who will tell any and all lies in order ro promote the Republican agenda.
She spent a portion of her show discussing DU! Like all right wing nuts, she used terms like "hysterical ranting... ...the anger... ...shrillness... ...apocalyptic... ...brink of insanity.. etc. etc. All of which I agree with fully, WHEN THE SUBJECT IS RIGHT WING RADIO TALK NUTS, but she was describing US with those terms!
She even went on to say that "I confess, I do visit the website... ...to learn what we must understand to win".
One of her dildo head callers said that he too had gone into Democratic Underground.
This caller and the host joined to give the scripted right wing speech about 'freedom of speech' 'freedom of thought' 'freedom of debate' blah blah blah, when the caller mentioned that he had been (gasp!) BANNED from Democratic Underground.
Can you imagine that? The administrators of DU ban people that describe us as insane, hysterical...?

What the hell do the right wingers think? That we have some obligation to listen to them?
Are we required to listen to them calling us baby killers, communists, anti-Americans, anti-Freedom, anti-Liberty etc etc?
The host's response to the caller's statement about being banned from DU was even funnier.
The caller said that he could no longer access DU from his home computer, but it gets far worse. He also said that he is unable to access DU from his work computer!
Dear God, is DU spreading some sort of computer virus that disables right wing computers??? I think they're coming to take our computers away!
Teri reacted with shock to the statement about denied access.
She tried to make it sound like some sort of sinister plot to silence the voices of the right. As if we were repealing the FIRST amendment.
Then she went on. She said something like, "Wow! That's scary! Do you keep any guns in the house?"
The implication being that O'Brien felt that Democrats would now be coming to the poster's house to cause them bodily harm.

Personally, I think we have enough people hiding behind couches with loaded guns in this country, without right wing radio encouraging others to do the same.

The point of my post (finally) is that they are talking about us. We're somewhere between steps two and three in Ghandi's victory roadmap.

First, they ignore you

read or listen to what reich-wingers say. I easily understand your frustration with these fools. Logic and good sense, unfortuntately, are not required. It is cool that they are talking about us and reading what we write! Hi freepers: How does it feel to see all the deaths and destruction, your grandchildren's money all spent, joblessness everywhere, the environment being destroyed, nearly the whole world hating us, civil rights and international relations destroyed, and knowing that your guys are in charge? The fact that they look in on us means we are having influence. Many of them, I'm sure, are skeptical about the greedy neo-cons and are looking in because they, perhaps unconsciously, would like to find some reasonable answers. That's where we have power. We have reason and caring on our side.

I went to her website...I am now thouroughly repulsed by another RW shill. I took one look at the 'Poll ?", and realized there was no way there was any kind of reality in this sleazebag.

Seems to me, this individual is weel interned in the RW fold, and will crash like the others. Most likely, she tortures small animals in her basement.


BTW: She, like all of the RW shills, visit here and pick and choose the posts they'd like to use as "ammo" against us. We do the same thing, but at least we're honest about it. I got banned from FR after my first post! (I'm still trying to scrape the stench off of me from going there and posting).

Meanwhile, Teri seems to be the Grand Dame of Irony. On one page, she gives her Fifteen Golden Rules for Living, and on another, an amazing 50 ways to completely break them.

She's also fond of calling non-Rectal-Rightists "Useful Idiots". Which is a welcome break, I admit, from Useless Idiots like Teri O'Brien.

They seem to be coming up more frequently. Heck I was even quoted by O'Reilly once in a most unfavorable light. Rush went after DU and membership rose....I think.

Before there were online message boards the Right-Wing media whores had a near monopoly. They have to agree with us on one thing: monopolistic practices in the media are not good for democracies, and being "true patriots" they certainly understand the importance of the 1st Amendment.
