US Medic on ABC: End of major combat operations. . .Yeah Right. . .
Edited on Sun Nov-02-03 06:37 PM by wndycty
I was just watching ABC's WORLD NEWS TONIGHT and a green scrubs wearing medic looks into the camera and says "End of major combat operations. . .yeah right!" And then he rolled his eyes. I expect him to get a talking to.

10. He will get a promotion
to the rank of civilian. Lucky him. He has skills that are not being exported wholesale from the US. Hope he makes it to the end of his enlistment safely.

4. He was treating the wounded from the helicopter crash
It was a horror.

The sound of scorn in his voice was unmistakable, and it was directed at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, or rather, it's current illegal occupier.

Bush gets off on illegal occupation. First the White House, then Iraq. Of course, the man has never had an honest occupation, so there you go.

7. such a huge statement in one sentence
It sounded so much like he has experienced quite a bit of this "business" while all the spinners keep saying the "shop is now closed". * can fool some of the people all the time but... some know who is the real fool.

8. Oh man...I know I should be happy to hear it but the death is starting...
...to really anger me.

Sure I was angry from the start but the last two weeks have made me sick.

I just hope that the honest medic doesn't catch too much crap.

Some of those guys (I include women in my use of "guys".) have to be just about ready to snap. I'm sure Rumsfeld's tactical doctrine of fewer forces, doing more work, is wearing thin.
