Hadley said that he and the speechwriters forgot Tenet's objections to the claim three months later when they drafted the State of the Union, and said the CIA didn't again seek to remove the reference.

White House Communications Director Dan Bartlett said the president has ``full confidence'' in Hadley and said no reprimand or resignation is planned.

FORGOT?? FORGOT?? Is that the best you can do? How the hell do you forget something the director of the fucking CIA tells you? Hell, if I forgot to turn the fryer off at McDonald’s I would be looking for a new job, but if you “forget” to remove an incorrect statement from a State of the Union Speech after the CIA has raised objections you have the president’s confidence.

This is absolute bullshit. We all know Hadley was just doing what he was told, that is why he is keeping his job.
