That's like when W said the Bottom get 'By far the vast majority of my tax cut." If Gore said 19% is a "vast majority" the press what have jumped on it. If Chandler had won 52-48 the press would have NEVER said that it was a blowout.

6. The link provided
in post #5 is a live tracking of the vote. It is currently at 55.5% to 45.5%. I would call that a blow out, landslide, pummeling, etc...

7. Those figures are from Fayette Co.
which is Fletcher's home base. He should be winning big there.

9. Damnit
I gave it a quick scan and thought those numbers were statewide totals.

Thank you for correcting me.

10. Statewide numbers
Currently at 54.7% to 45.3%. I will call that the same things I called it above.

13. I checked the statewide totals too
and a slight Fletcher lead has ballooned. Jefferson county has yet to come in; Chandler should make up some ground there, but he's clearly to far back and it does look like a blowout. WTF is wrong with the people in this state? Gov. Davis syndrome. Voters taking it out frustration on Dem candidate due to sleazy outgoing Dem Gov. Patton.

12. It's all the science of WHICH precincts have reported.
I think it's now up to high single-digits. They would have been able to tell that pretty early on if the early districts were heavily Democratic yet we were still behind by 3-4 pts.

Don't sweat it. We lost that one weeks ago.
