I want the bloodshed to end in Iraq

I want our troops home safely. Bush has caused the death of hundreds of them, at least, by his horrible planning and failed diplomacy. I'm glad that Saddam Hussein has been deposed. Hussein was a murderous dictator, and as many DUers, but not that many Americans know, Rumsfeld, Bush Sr., the Republicans, and corporate America are partially responsible for his reign of terror, since they spent so many years providing him with money, weapons, and diplomatic support.

We could have had a multilateral force under the UN go in and take down Hussein, but Bush didn't want that. He purposefully kept out the UN because Bush's neo-con backers wanted to control all of the oil, and to set up a new imperial base in Iraq since Saudi Arabia was too hot after 911 (and threatened to have Bush's ties to the 911 terrorists exposed). Bush lied constantly about the reasons for war, the intelligence about Hussein's WMD, and their lack of any exit strategy.

I agree 100% with Dennis Kucinich on the war in Iraq - I want the UN in and the US out.

Bush be damned.
