Here's stuff I picked up:

Married twice. On third wife who he got through an internet service.

Women who dated him say they would never date him again because all he did was talk about himself.

Was a guest speaker at an event. Introduced his wife. Forgot she was on stage. Began his ranting and someone in the audience had to remind him his wife was there.

Mother said he sat alone in his room most of the time. At Haloween he wouldn't go out but would drop water balloons on the kids who came to the door. Friend said he would always find him alone in his dark room with his radio and his tape recorder.

Reporters say that as he leaves the mike, he begins to "shrink" and pull away from people and crawl into a shell. They say he has no friends. He likes to lie on the couch and watch football all day and cannot stand to do anything else.

Speaking as someone who has recovered from financial difficulty, I can vouch for how gut-wrenching it is when you need to struggle to pay the mortgage. Posting this kind of thing just to poke fun at the man should be beneath us.

Rush's drug-use is fair game because he was a hypocrite. But I don't ever remember Rush making fun of people who fell into bankruptcy.

Your argument of bad taste is valid, but the reason this info is so readily available on the Web, is that it's a matter of public record.

Rush is always talking about personal responsibility.

It is one thing if you or I have problems and find ourselves on the crummy end...it is something totally different when someone talks about meetin personal responsibility for the masses, but then shirks it himself. We call this hypocrisy.

If I made $80 million + a year, a few hundred grand would not burn me to keep my home. It all comes down to walking the walk, not demanding others to do it on considerably less.
