My letter to the DNC

Actually, I haven't sent it yet but they just piss me off.


Dear DNC,

I am writing in response to the dismal results for Democrats in recent elections, most notably California. May I ask what in God's name are you people doing? With embarrassing losses the past 3 elections, would it not be safe to assume that Terry McAuliffe is not up to the job and should be dismissed - post haste? That you have enabled the Bush Crime Family in their twisted far right agenda is absolutely disgusting. You're supposed to be the opposition! Start acting like it! How the party of Jefferson, F.D.R. and John F. Kennedy got to this state is beyond me, at the rate you're going, this nation in for VERY big trouble in 2004! You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Now get your act together!!!!!!

well, as far as grammar: "Your supposed to be " should be "you're" :-)

Seriously, they are working hard. Certainly mistakes happen. You need to learn to invite people to think, rather than insulting their existence.

there are no personal insults in that letter. The closest thing to an insult is about it being disgusting that they enabled the Bush crime family. Which is not a nice thing to say but then again people have plenty reason to say not so nice things about the DLC - people have a right to vent their opinion.

If they are working hard and have nothing to show for it other then all of US politics moving over to the Right, doesn't that mean the DLC is incompetent? The DLC is in a sad state if it depends on people writing letters in order to make the DLC "think".

I have been thinking of writting one myself, I am sick of them continually asking me for money and then squandering it on losing campaigns and rolling over on issues. :argh:

It tells it the way it is. They need to get their shit together. Send it to them! Good job.
