2004 Elections=all Republicans are Bush Republicans

Dubya is going to be an anchor around his whole party's neck!

The average public no longer likes Bush. Growing awareness and hostility is in the air. And that it is just the tip of the iceberg, because the news no longer likes Bush and the military HATES HIM.

Let's get a good crop of Progressive Democrats through the primaries and take back Congress with Progressives, not DINO's. We can take back Congress and Presidency and do it with decent human beings.

Methinks you are too optimistic. You underestimate his administration's ability to manipulate the media, and the election. Can't disagree with your solution; the 2000 election shows what happens when we put forth "Bush Lite," rather than real convictions.

I think CBS is most CIA beholden. All it takes is for one network to tell the truth and it all busts open.

Bush will be tough to beat. He will still be popular with at least 45% of US voters - and unfortunatly with perhaps enough more to win legitimately for the first time. The Democrats have a slim chance at best to win back the House simply because redistricting has created so many safe districts that most are not even competative anymore. The Democrats are defending more seats in the Senate, and too many are in Republican friendly states, so we will be accomplishing quite a lot just to hold our own and keep the seats we currently have.

Sorry, I don't think the outlook is so bright. We may win the White House and score a few Congressional and Senate wins, but we will have to scratch and claw for every victory.

All Republicans are Bush Republicans. They have marched with him lockstep into massive debt, vanishing jobs and record unemployment, failure to defend the nation, unfinished business in Afghanistan, and a huge mess in Iraq where our soldiers are being killed daily. Every Republicans is a Bush Republican, and we should hold them all responsible. Republicans always try to blame someone else, and we can't let them get away with it.

I hope there's a regime change in Washington with the next election and regime changes in Republican-controlled legislatures, but I'm pessimistic.

Bush may or may not be voted out by the voters. If he is voted out of office, it won't be because the news media has grown backbones and developed nerve and started some investigative reporting or because voters will learn to separate the man from his policies.

Too many voters in this country suffer from intellectual disconnects when it comes to voting. They may like Republican politicians or Republican politicians' personae, but don't like those Republicans' policies. Nevertheless, those very same voters will vote for those Republican candidates anyway.

Moreover, I fear that too many voters still associate policies with Presidential personas. Even if enough of the electorate gets aroused and angry enough to vote Dubya out of office, those same voters may very well vote to re-elect their Republican congressional representatives and Republican senators.

The all-too-successful Republican efforts at congressional redistricting represent another mountain range for progressives to climb to roll back reaction. Democratic administrations look to have to deal with hostile, obstructionist, highly partisan Republican-controlled Houses of Representatives for a long time.

I hate writing this, but the good guys have to be realistic and know what challenges we face.

I'm voting DEMOCRAT ALL THE WAY!

Anything that is non-partisan can kiss my grits. (Excluding Amendments that We The People actually get to vote on, wow imagine that!)
