...on the Iraq-War supporting alliance that they are feigning outrage over something that's been said for months. And the attempts at making it out to be more are seen as typical politics from Washington insiders desperate to find something to knock Dean's negatives up and try to climb back into contention.

3. I was pleasantly surprised

Most felt it was a non-issue and many saw it as sour grapes on the part of the "complainers" (other candidates). I hope we keep talking about this, because Dean did not support the flag, he said he wanted peoples' votes. Maybe this flap will help him talk to his audiences, esp. in the South, about race and how we shouldn't let it divide us.

I like Deans statement. And like guns these two issues have made a lot of voters, vote Repug in the South....

5. Welp, Dean has since said he wants them to put down

the flag. So it's a worst of both worlds scenario. And I don't know a single black person who looked on his comment as a 'non-issue.' A minor issue, certainly, but not a 'non-issue.'
