open wide for another delicious slurp. Example? Last night on the evening news, they showed a video clip of Bush in California touring the fires scenes. He stopped to talk with reporters, who thew him some questions about Iraq.
A question came up about the latest casualties, and with his totally fake "mock sympathy" look, he said, "They died for a cause more noble than themselves. They died for the security of the United States."
What absolute horseshit. He keeps repeating this lie. He tries to make it sound like the Iraqis are ready to invade the U.S., and the only thing that stands between us and them, are the dead bodies of our soldiers. What utter crap!
What the soldiers died for, is the security of the oil operations now owned and operated by American companies, which was the primary reason we went to Iraq in the first place (the secondary reason being Israel's constant urging of the U.S. to invade).
If Bush was Pinocchio, his nose would reach from D.C. to the Hawaiian Islands! His daily pronouncements remind me so much of the double-speak that was perfected during the Vietnam War. He could be Richard Nixon, except Nixon was better a better liar.
The other liar on last night, was State Department spokesperson Richard Boucher. When questioned about the cozy no-bid Iraq deals by and between the government and Halliburton and Bechtel, he looked right at the camera and said, and I quote, " ...the deals were competitive", meaning they were competitively bid. This was a blatant, and outright lie, and he knows it!
Watching the news anymore, is an Orwellian exercise. According to the Bush regime, up is down, black is white, bad is good. The media meanwhile, permits these lies be presented without any challenge whatsoever, the ever willing accomplices in the dissemination of Neonazicon propaganda.
