If your candidate doesn't win...
Will you volunteer for the campaigns of the Democrat that is left running for the Presidency? I am volunteering for Kerry but if he loses I hope that I can step in and work for the winning candidates campaign and with no reservations by their staff members. I honestly don't care who beats Bush at this point and I would give all the effort I could to any campaign left standing...

I just worry that these primaries might be dividing us all where we will find it hard to work together towards a common goal once it's Bush versus Us.

1. If Edwards loses
I plan on volunteering for either Dean or Clark . I will give my efforts to anyone ( except Lieberman ) in beating Bush . Thats my goal - getting him back to Crawford .

2. I will vote for any of the nine
Although I will not campaign for Lieberman. I'll just quietly vote for him on election day and watch him lose badly later that night.

3. I will campaign my arse off for whoever our nom is!
I refuse to sit by and let Chimp get re-elected. He will not finish destroying this country that I love. I will work tirelessly to help our nominee become the next President.

4. All the way baby!!!
While I am a Deanie and involved in the campaign the bulk of my efforts have been and will continue to be on behalf of the Party.

I have recently been getting in lots of replies to a large mailing I did as Membership chair. Lots signing up, sending money and volunteering. Building a war chest and raising an army of volunteers that I will be putting behind whoever gets the nom.

Every meet-up I go to I stress party building to all. I signed up more new members last night even! Former Repubs!! Whoo-hooo!!

Kickin' ass and takin' names in the north--

Julie

6. If our presently least preferred candidate happens to win the nomination,
that's the time for us to continue being good Democrats, support the candidate, and have our voices ring in the candidates ears while they take a seat at the White House.
I heard somewhere that Dems are more open and responsive to sound intellectual arguments...;)

Yeah, I'll volunteer.

7. I sure the hell am
I am not going to stand by idly and allow Bush to win another term.

However, I would be uncomfortable working for Liberman. I would have to think again about that.

11. Relative to the other Dem candidates he may not be in the 50th
percentile of preference here (or 20th even), but relative to George Bush...?

The Democratic candidates are a fine restaurant, gw bush's admin is a dried up and rotting spud in a crumbling alley.

14. At a Dean meetup last night...
this topic came up, and the local leader actually suggested that Deaniacs go to other meetups, announce themselves as Dean supporters, and get to know the supporters of the other candidates.

The way we win in 2004 is to have a HUGE army of volunteers, no matter who the candidate is.

So I support your effort to encourage commn ground amoung the volunteers who are all working so hard for their candidates.

17. I am doing that here!
Glad to know I am not alone in my thinking! I am on the local Dem board so I feel I have an obligation to at least keep up on local activity on all campaigns. A Clark supporter has recently contacted the Party, offically joined and I've invited her to address the board on Clark's behalf as the ad hoc leader of our Dean group here has.

She's keeping my up to date on Clark meetings etc. and I will attend. Have made no secret of my Dean support but have also shared my view that I am behind whoever wins the nom. Only through building relationships with all can we win in the end.

15. Good To Start Talking About This
These are the discussions we should be having.

I will support the nominee as he (no offense CMB, just not your time now) accepts the nomination in my hometown Boston! I support Clark, and hope that it is him, but ABB!

18. Probably not
But I will vote for them. This isn't the first election for me. I began voting for Democrats back in 1980 with Jimmy Carter, since i realise they are my best hope.
