YOU GO GIRL: THIS DIANA DeGette is the best (D) Colorado

She is on CSpan speaking out about how Democrats should be standing up for Democratic ideals. She says that Democrats should be able to oppose this administration diametrically.

I want her as MY Senator. She is in the House though.

However, she implied that Democrats should not be criticized for speaking out. She rose up and said that after 9/11, Democrats were being lambasted for being unpatriotic. And she touched upon that subject.

3. she's my rep.

She has an excellent voting record - one of the most liberal in the house. My one complaint with her is that she doesn't (publically) get in the face of the Republicans enough. She certainly doesn't have the knack for it that Pat Schroeder had. I've e-mailed her numerous times urging her to speak up - to get out there and lead. Good to see her doing it.

a shining light in a state that has gone so deeply to the right. She's still pretty new, so keep encouraging to step up and take them on.

Yes, it's good to hear someone finally saying it like it is.

However, her staff doesn't follow through with people who ask for help. So, if you're not needing *that* kind of representation, she is fine.

I miss Pat.
