Lets Find Kucinich a Wife
Edited on Thu Nov-06-03 01:24 PM by dave29
I saw this last night at the planned parenthood forum online - and I thought it was hysterical. They asked all of the candidates what the role of their first lady or man or friend would be.

On spouse question, Kucinich drew some of the most laughter suggesting his interesting prospective on the question.

"As a bachelor I can only fantasize about a first lady," Kucinich said. "Maybe Fox wants to sponsor a national contest.”

Then in what Kerry referred to as "the first presidential personal ad" Kucinich rattled off the characteristics of his dream first lady. He then asked "If you're out there, call me."

13. He's got a longtime girlfriend...
...and he's been married twice. I think he's stated that he probably isn't the best marriage material, given his schedule and devotion to his job and cause.

However, he does have an 18-year-old daughter who is supposedly as intelligent as her father, and as cute as a button. :)

Edited on Thu Nov-06-03 09:11 PM by economic justice
Like a supporter of John Kerry can say anything about looks. I dread the thought of looking at the cartoons if he's nominated! They would have a field day with his loooonnnnggggg face! I had someone (who doesn't pay much attention to politics)ask me who the guy is that looks the "the Munsters guy." I swear!
edit: I should also say that I knew who they were talking about. :)

21. Hey! I'm single
I could get into living in the White House.

And believe me, I wouldn't be one of those "sit quietly and smile adoringly at your hubbie" kind of first ladies.

The only problem is, I inhaled.

26. the CNN crawl was hilarious
I wish I could remember it verbatim, I was laughing my ass off, in an affectionate way. :-)

It was something like "Bachelor Kucinich...looking for...strong woman... who likes underdogs...peace...something else." :-)

27. when he came to Maine and the Maine Organic Farmers Assoc Fairgrounds
I shook his hand and was so excited to do so. I told him I loved him, really I did, and I got it on tape, but he did not pay too much attention to my advances.:-( I really liked his feel and his appearance. It is much different than the photographs we see around the net. Dennis is not, apparently ,very photogenic.
