I endorsed Howard Dean this week
Edited on Fri Nov-07-03 08:23 PM by srpantalonas
I like all of the candidates--they all bring something to the table. But I like Dean because he fills a massive hole in the Party, which seems to have lost its way.

Reasons:

1) Democratic Party lacks leadership, vision, and backbone. Dean has demonstrated all of these through his campaign. Other candidates present themselves, their views, and their background and expect action. Dean catalyzes action today.

2) While I'm closer to Kucinich on the issues, Dean has shown he is responsive to other views and is informed by a sense of fairness and justice.

I'll actively campaign for Dean here in Pennsylvania on the bus. Hope to see you out there!

Charlie Crystle

what happens to campaign donations of candidates who dont win the primaries?

Does it go into a dem fund for the winner?

5. Darn Good Question!
As a rule, most candidates spend it all. But I'm not sure what the FEC rules are on surplus funds.

Anyone know?

10. thank you so much!
People tell me all the time they like my passion, my ideas, my principles, and the way I listen to them. Sometimes, though, they ask about whether I can win, and some of them haven't supported me financially yet. This is the outsider's dilemma, because we don't depend on corporate money or Party favors to raise money. It's a terrible chicken-or-the-egg cycle.

I tell them, they have a choice. they can stick with politics as usual, or they can support what they believe in. If everyone I've met supported the candidate who most closely represented what they believe in, I'd win hands down.

This time, please vote for what you believe in, and support the candidates you believe in. Don't just go for the "perceived" winner. that becomes a self-fulfilling--and self-defeating--thing.

Thaks for your support!
