together with Leahy, they just made Orrin Hatch and the repukes look baaaaaad for violating a rule that Orrin Hatch put in when he was in the minority. Sorry, I'm not sure what committee they were on but it had to do with ending debate on putting a judge on the federal appeals court.. I forgot the judge's name. sorry.
The Judge's name is Pryor and they have been hearing this morning on his nomination. It seems the Republicans accused the Dems of "discriminating against Pryor" because he is Catholic. Then Durbin gave a speech about how everyone who votes their preference is being accused of discrimination, that is is a rogue's argument. Hatch called the vote to be contrary and got what he deserved.
