I was watching Robert Reich last night

He was talking about the deficit and how spending is higher along with the tax cuts. He said that we were spending like crazy with the farm subsidies which costs $180 billion. The presciption drug benefits for Medicare which will cost $400 billion. Not to mention Bush's tax cuts for the wealthy.

My first thought listening to this was that this is usually what companies do before going bankrupt. They spend as if there was no tomorrow and stop paying the bills they need to pay.

3. Absolutely.......

that's what they WANT to do. I mean, ANYONE knows that this will bankrupt America. That will mean we can't afford any of the programs we have now......meaning Soc. Sec. and Medicare are the first 2 that come to mind. I mean, they gotta know what they're doing. Don't they?
