Question about the request to fill draft board vacancies
A few days ago, there was a link posted to a Dept of Defense website. The website called for people to volunteer to join their local draft board.

I've found several articles about this by googling, but I haven't been able to find the actual DOD website again. There are some articles that provide a link, but the link does not work. It takes you to the defendamerica.mil website, but the file is not found. I've tried to search within the website, but to no avail.

I thought I had bookmarked the site, but I can't find it. I'm hoping someone has the link. To me, it looks like the link has been removed by the government. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

good question.

The DoD was so scared that they would be perceived of bringing back the draft, they took down the website yesterday.

I can see what's around the corner! The fact that this was up shows where Dept. of Defense minds are treading.

3. truemajority.com
I got a message from truemajority.com saying I should sign up for the draft board to help some scared teenager in the event of a draft. Not seeing myself as a good counselor, I deleted the message. But it had a link with instructions or something on how to become a draft board member. Maybe it just led to the DOD page, but if you can find a friend who hasn't delted that truemajority message, you might be able to find something useful.

4. Defendamerica.com or org
Yeah, that's where I first saw it, but it's gone now. Printed a few copies and spread them around, should have made more!
