Who's Winning: Bush or Saddam?
In the epic battle between the Texas oilman and the Arab dictator, who's winning? Has one outsmarted the other? If so, who?

1. Hmm,
It appears that Saddam has the Guerrilla war thing down. After yesterday's Black Hawk down incident. The Military was doing a pitiful show of force by indiscriminately firing rounds and dropping bombs into the desert night. It really seemed like a dumb idea, meant only to appease the scared soldiers and did nothing to scare the enemy.

I wonder how many innocent people we killed in our show of force last night?

2. They blew their wad...
...with "shock and awe". I doubt we are going to top that as a "display of overwhelming force" short of a nuke. And since that "display" didn't seem to work, what reason is there to think these "tooth and claw" demonstrations will?

3. Speaking of Shock and Awe.
Edited on Sat Nov-08-03 03:40 PM by Liberal_Guerilla
Did anyone catch that interview that dumbass did with Brokaw or somebody Brokawish? When Tweedle-dee was asked about Shock and Awe, the pervert actually laughed and snorted like he got some perverse pleasure from it.

I am no freud but anyone who would get off on Shock and Awe is a cold blooded killer with a tiny penis.

4. Well, for one thing, we know where Bush is....
we don't know where Saddam is. Osama is the real big winner. American troops are out of Saudi Arabia, Saddam is out of Iraq, we are living in fear about our present and our future, and we are now strapped with war deficits as far as the eye can see...just like the USSR was after it invaded Afghanistan. I give us about 5 years and we will bite the dust too. Internal strife, class warfare, hunger, street crime (which is on the rise all across the nation), and uneducated and uncaring masses...all the ingredients for the decline and fall of a great nation.

6. shockawe
if i were a halliburton employee i'd be a little nervous laying pipe from the oil fields to the bagdad hummer dealership. yes open arms, i understand now what that means. here's the answer rummy. take around a trillion $, give it to the u.n. to distribute to contractors (non-american only), and let's just see if the iraqi's don't settle down a bit. oh, wait, that makes too much sense, we will be seen as weak and wrong and no one will be afraid of us anymore!

7. Tyranny is winning, as the light of Liberty begins to flicker in Amerika
Call me Amerocentric, but as during the Last Days of the Old Republic American helped spread democracy to new places, so will Amerika spread it's NeoTotalitarianism to the rest of the world.

It will "trickle down".
