Question about whistleass UK visit:
I've heard (read) some people ask "Why is he actually going, since the public sentiment against him there is so prevalent?"

Is it by way of an official invitation from the crown? If so, I would imagine that declining it would be seen as a rebuff. Anybody know about this?

1. Publicy It Dosen't Make Sense To Me
Privately, I'm certain he will offer Blair a few underhanded business deals or have something in mind to pull his a** out of the fire.

2. I don't think that Bush has any love for Blair. Blair used to be a
liberal. Bush USED him and now he is something that can be discarded.
If he were to protect him, it would be to keep the "coalition of the willing" to have at least one "willing" that can offer more than 1000 troops and does not require the US to pay the expenses for the troops AND give "loans" or "grants" as bribes.

5. Supposedly, * is going to appear at Parliament and the Labor
Party is going to "greet" him by standing up and turning their backs to him. I would LOVE to see this one.

Also, there was supposed to be a big ceremony w/ * and Pickles riding in a carriage through London, but because of the heavy protesting expected, it was cancelled and * was mad. Ha! Ha!
