Anybody watching Rich Lowry on CSpan? Disgusting

Talking about Clinton being a liar about Monica. How Clinton lied about sex in oval office vs Bush's complete honesty. "Bush doesn't say one thing and do another," he says.

Interviewer asks him if Bush's campaign promise not to do any nation building is indicative of the same time of hypocrisy. Lowry says "no" because "the mission has changed. Before 9/11 it didn't seem that we needed to do more nation building but it became clear it was in the national interests."

Then says basically Clinton was an elitist--vacationing at Martha's Vineyard while Bush spends time clearing brush at his "ranch" which resonates with the military and common folk.

Sorry but I think this argument about Clinton is shallow just like the republican gene pool.

...and I would rather spend summers in Martha's vineyard than in Texas...the weather's better and the views spectacular (according to friends)...

then took my que from Brian Lamb when he asked why anyone other than a Clinton hater would want to watch the interview (Brian Lamb was a little more tactful in the way he said it), and he answered something about having this discussion--duh! I guess right winger's idea of a discussion is one blowhard going on TV and spouting hateful things about Democrats, while we sit here yelling at the tv screen? Not in my house, thank you, Mr. Lowry.

That ranch must be the world's leading supplier of tumbleweeds. Junior's down there every other month either digging them up or planting the next harvest.

Lowry's the pencilneck Rambo who mused aloud at NRO about nuking Mecca and Medina. Called the idea extreme, but religions have endured worse "setbacks" and it "would send a message."

What gets me is the "mission has changed" regarding nation building. The mission as it relates to Iraq did not change. Bush lied plain and simple.

I get so tired of CONs' lies and hypocrisy that I want to give up. They now hate Jessica Lynch, a former hero. They canonize Reagan (Regan?) the only president stupider than GDubya in history; they claim the war is based on WMD then when they can't find any claim it was due to Saddam's cruelty. It's maddening because most people can't even begin to sift through the lies and those of us who see it for what it is are continually chasing a moving target.
