This past week... I'm impressed that a 'mere comedian' was able to research "Rush Limbaugh is a big fat idiot" and only have one factual error in the book, and Franken himself was the one to find it. I'm sure the Limbaugh had people go over that book with a fine tooth comb as well.

I'm dying to see him and Ann Coulter on stage together in Hartford, CT next year.

He is, indeed, one of the best satirical voices we have out there.

The Franken speech would have been from the National Conference for Media Reform. That was this past weekend in Madison. I didn't get to attend the entire conference so I didn't see his full speech, but we did go to Saturday night's keynote event, which was absolutely awesome!

Senator Russ Feingold, Al Franken, Amy Goodman (Democracy Now!), one of the two decent and hardworking FCC Commissioners that we have, two Representatives from NY and Bill Moyers all spoke at Saturday night's event. I hope I didn't forget anybody...

C-SPAN was there, so if they air it, you MUST watch it!!! It was SO inspiring, and it wrapped up with GREAT music, including a blues band which the FCC guy joined in with on his harmonica.

What a fun night!!
