There's a little serious discussion, but a lot of levity. I gave up at post #300 of 729...the FReeper forums format is pretty bad and I don't get the same "community" feeling lurking over there then I do here...plus I didn't detect any sympathy for Davis.

I'd call them pond scum but to be fair pond scum doesn't have a choice - these creeps do.

Of course, the same thing happens over here when a conservative dies.

conservatives don't seem to die of gunshot wounds or small plane crashes. They die in bed at 100, after decades of fouling things up in office.

But they are usually chastised by DU members for their remarks.

While we may have a handful of people with sick thoughts at times, FR is truly a sick place.

They're idiots. And I don't know that all that much chastisement goes on over here. Those doing the chastising are usually chastised themselves.

I know where you guys are coming from, and it's not as bad over here as it seems to be over there.

Every damn conservative in town picks up on the comments, even if they've been deleted. I remember Boortz, Jonah Goldberg, and the rest of the right-wing thugs ran with the story when some DU'ers said insensitive things about Michael Kelly's death. I guess Boortz and his crooks don't care when conservatives attack a deceased Democrat.

Nothing scares a Freeper more than a Leftist who opposes gun control.

Did you hear what Bloomberg said in his press conference? "I don't know why people carry guns. Guns kill people." Though he's basically a Democrat, he ran as a Repug. Bet the Repugs love THOSE remarks!!
