How well known IS the Federalist Society, anyway?

I've read a little about it...enough to know that it ISN'T some mainstream group, or whatever interpretation Sessions offered. It is an extreme right wing group. And I think a dangerous one.

Am I wrong in assuming that the Federalist Society wields an enormous amount of influence in the Republican Party? It sounds, to me, like you can't be a judicial nominee for this White House unless you are a member of the Federalist Society.

No doubt about it. This group is preparing to take over the entire country. That's not an exaggeration. Every Democrat in the country should read up on this group. They put the V in VRWC.

3. They are rewriting the constitution and they are extraordinarily serious

Every word Hatch utters (and stutters) comes from them...though the combinations of his effort to appear diplomatic plus what I think is his inarticulateness probably causes some bumbling and obfuscation.

They are the ones behind the effort to convince right wingers and libertarians that this is a republic, not a democracy. (We only export democracy).

They head up an effort to groom judges, lawyers, civic employees for the takeover.

They write the rules for Rove, Card, and their marionette in every nuance and they partner with the intelligence brass, the military brass, and the barons brass.
