Are any DUers in the MoveOn.org ad contest?

GlobalFreePress.com submitting two ads. One features Mike Kane from the band “Clarity” who are known for the track “Buddy, Buddy”.

Another is from film maker Aaron Raskin who directed “American Pipe Dream”.

GFP will be posting the Mike Kane spot in the next few days so that DUers can check it out. I hope we can get fellow DUers to submit work as well and support each other when the voting starts.

I have the perfect song to make a flash commercial with but I could only splice it to a minute.

2. I think it has to be video or film.

Flash does not look right on broadcast TV unfortunately. Their are a lot of good flash people on DU but unless they have editing software as well it won't work.

I think Move On has raised a lot of money for the ad time.

4. I have two entries so far

One is finished and the other is awaiting some 3D rendering and some video of dart playing in a bar. I have no doubt it will piss off Ashcroft, but I was very careful writing the script as to stay out of Gitmo.

The one that's finished is striking, it gives me goosebumps and makes me both laugh and cry every time I watch it. Unfortunately it uses copyrighted music and is much longer than 30 seconds, so it can't win based on the rules. I'll post it here after the 5th.

Honestly I don't care if I win, I just love having all these brilliant progressive judges watching my work. Especially M. Moore and J. Garafalo.
