A new Quinnipiac Poll indicates that for the first time in his presidency that George W. Bush has more people in the state giving him a negative rating than a positive rating on his job performance.
Right now 47% rate Bush positively in Jersey and 50% negatively.
In the race for the Democratic nomination there is a three way tie between Lieberman, Dean, and Kerry.
Lieberman: 16% (down from 17% in Sept)
Dean: 16% (up from 12% in Sept)
Kerry 15% (up from 14%)
Clark 11% (down from 16%)
Gep: 9% (down from 13%)
Braun: 6% (up from 2%)
Shaprton 5% (down from 9%)
Edwards 2%
Kucinich under 1%
Lieberman beats Bush 47-46
Bush is ahead of Kerry 46-45
Bush is ahead of Clark 47-45
Bush is ahead of Gep 48-45
Bush is ahead of Dean 48-45
All are within the moe and every democrat has imporved his standing against Bush since the last poll in Sept.
