OOOPS hold the celebrations first time Unemployment claims up last week
Like I said in a post a few days ago Bush better hold his glee and stop saying the tax cuts are working, because if last month was just a
short bump and the economic numbers dont continue to rise. Bush will have egg on his face, he is going to have to explain why is tax cuts didnt work.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The number of Americans seeking initial jobless aid grew last week, the government said on Thursday, but the figure still suggested some labor market improvement.
First-time claims for unemployment benefits rose 13,000 to 366,000 in the week ended Nov. 8 from a revised 353,000 the prior week, the Labor Department said.

1. He'll never have to explain it to the media.
The lap dog press we have here locally seems to feel everything is right here in America. The tax cuts were not only a success, they helped to end that horrible Clinton recession (if you believe what you read).

2. Exactly what I predicted, it's been happening for months already
The jobless numbers are posted, the misadministration cheers the good news, and the following week the numbers are revised upwards and there is no mention of that from anyone...it just slips under the radar and the majority of sheeple think Chimpy and Co. are just swell...:puke:

3. CNN completely glossed this over...
...on the biz segment that just aired. As they displayed the declining DOW numbers and asked "What is going on here?" Andy Sewer had this to say, en toto, about the jobs number..."The latest jobs report was benign."

That's it. No numbers. No qualifying it against all the hype of the SURGE of last week. Nothing.

Damn liberal media!
