Which Candidates Have Been To Your Home State?
Here in Ory-gun, Dean's been the only one that I know of.

Iowa/NH's not for another two months...isn't it time to start the whistlestops? Is the Western US being neglected, or is this normal for this stage of the campaign?

6. I think all the Dem candidates came out
to campaign for Davis and to fundraise. That doesn't mean there is a chance to meet them unless you pay.

10. Kucinich and Edwards have campaigned in Oregon also.
Dean's visit in Portland was the third this year, despite the fact that Oregon's primary is not until May -- which will probably be long after the Democratic nomination is decided. Two of the eight other Democratic candidates -- Sen. John Edwards of North Carolina and Rep. Dennis Kucinich of Ohio -- have made campaign visits to the state.

Kucinich was in Washington State last week.

11. Wisconsin
Dean, Kerry, and Kucinich were here for the Dem convention in June. Dean and Kucinich have been back at least once. Don't know about Kerry. Sharpton was scheduled to be here for the convention, but had to cancel as someone on his staff or a relative died and he performed the service that day.

Edwards is coming this weekend. I don't think Lieberman has been here since 2000, but perhaps another Wisconsinite can help me out on that one.

So, to my knowledge, Clark, Sharpton, Moseley-Braun, Lieberman, Graham (when he was in), and Gephardt have not been to Wisconsin in the past year.

It was a mistake not showing up for the convention. Can't imagine the base voting for someone who doesn't have a good excuse for not showing up.

13. Washington
Dean's been here a few times, Kucinich was here just the other night, and Bush was here a few months ago. And I'm pretty sure Lieberman was here last year for a fundraiser.

14. not many
Theresa Heinz Kerry was in Ann Arbor recently.
Kucinich spoke in Detroit but that didn't go over well, I'm sorry to say.

Clark, Dean---please get to Michigan as fast as you can. We're a blue state and we need encouragement!

19. They've both been...
Dean's been here several times, most recently Oct 18th-the week before he was here for the debate. Clark was here for the debate, but I think he has been here before that. Log on to your sites and check out their schedules by inputting your zip code.

:hi:

...but I didn't. Kucinich has spent a lot of time here, then again he lives here. As for the other candidates...I would love to see ya'.

22. I'm in NH
LOL

I've seen most of 'em. I don't think Al Sharpton or Carol Mosely-Braun have been here, but everyone else sure has.

I had dinner with Kerry and a personal chat with Dean. I spent some time with Elizabeth Edwards as well. Gephardt spent an afternoon with me in 2002. Kucinich was here a few weeks ago. I heard him speak, but I didn't actually meet him.

I avoided Lieberman when he was here. His wife had a snit about no fresh squeezed juice - apparently she didn't realize where she was.

One of the great things about being one of only about 10 highly visible Democrats in my area, is that I get to meet everyone.
