Woke up this morning and turned into CNN just in time to see the quesstion of the day from Cafferty - Do you think the president lied about WMD in Iraq - Cafferty absolutely chocking on words had to admit and read that the overwelming response was that administration lied! Said don't write me, response was huge!!!!

Then......at the end Solodad made a comment and Cafferty said this is huge!!!!!!! Anyone else catch this?

1. I saw it, and what he said was
that the answer to the question...Was it a lie, or was it bad intellegence? is huge.
I about fell out of my chair, because Cafferty is a creep. He was still hedging a bit, but still, that is something.

2. YES!...I was just composing a thread about the same thing!

Jack Cafferty, who reports on and reads the e-mails every morning, just said "don't accuse us of being the Clinton News Network, but the vast majority of e-mails we received on this have been against the administration." Ya, sure, CNN's the Clinton network.... Then he read some of them....one e-mail even said, if President Clinton could be impeached for personal behaviour, Bush's lies should call for impeachment. This is a first! Can the worm be turning?

3. I would like a miracle
I would like an apology from every fucking stupid right-winger who ridiculed the peace movement and everyone else who tried to tell their incredibly stupid asses that the president and his handlers were a fucking two-bit lying 18-wheeler full of shit. Bastards. Even today on C-SPAN, the fucking Bush supporters focused on "oh you people are crazy in your hatred of Bush..." YEAH!!!!! Dumbass. I hate the fucking guy. But my hatred DOES NOT absolve him of any crimes he committed and there are plenty. Idiots. I gotta live in the same country with this DRECK??

5. Better yet, W right on the front lines, taking fire.
Since he's all about "Bring 'em on!", why isn't he over there routing out insurgents, arresting suspects, taking enemy positions, risking HIS life?

I'm sure that's what thousands of scared, young, U.S troops there who thought they'd just have to do a few weeks a year Guard service are asking, too. The arrogant SOB.

White House Backs Off Claim on Iraqi Purchase
By Walter Pincus
Washington Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, July 8, 2003; Page A01

The Bush administration acknowledged for the first time yesterday that President Bush should not have alleged in his State of the Union address in January that Iraq had sought to buy uranium in Africa to reconstitute its nuclear weapons program.

10. Soledad's comment at the end of Jack's segment
Edited on Tue Jul-08-03 11:42 AM by sweet_scotia
When Jack ended the letter reading segment with "This could be huge" Soledad said, ...."and the timing on this is very interesting as well. The president is in Africa, obviously not taking any questions."

Maybe they're starting to wise up.
