5. Thanks this will be interesting to watch
He seems to be 'polishing his act' these days. His speeches seem smoother, more natural, more impassioned. He's also starting to stake out clear positions on specific issues. It will be interesting to see if he continues.
It would also be interesting to have Peggy Noonan's pharmacist.

6. He's a quick study. Just like he fellow Arkansas buddy,
bill Clinton. I don't know how he will fare in the coming months, but so far he looks like a winner.

I think if he gets the nod, Kerry should be his running mate.

7. He did great
and Chris Matthews never laid a glove on him which he would have if Clark had seemed weak. Chris was very respectful and Clark seemed to to just let his knowledge flow so easily. Impressive.

8. A no Hard Ball household
What subjects did he talk about? I caught him this morning and noticed a new note of urgency in his voice. He said...Iraqis need to take over their government...<pause> NOW.

The usual "window" he talks about seems to be nailed shut. My take was that although he was still the gentlemen, his amazement/frustration with the "Iron Hammer" strategy was boiling under the surface. Rule: counter insurgency must start on the inside....intelligence. You don't win hearts and minds when you bomb people.

Of course he flashed Hannah Storm that smile at the end.

9. I missed Clark
I tuned in to catch Dr. Bob selling Iraqi air conditioners. "They come with a full 1-year warranty! NYC air conditioners crap out at 88 degrees, these babies keep on going when it's 135!"

Later Tweety asked Peggy Noonan what outcome she dreams for Iraq when she goes to sleep. No shit, with a graphic on the screen saying "Iraq the Real Story," Tweety asks Noonan about her fantasies.

Tomorrow on "Iraq the Real Story" -- Bernard Goldberg.

14. *snort*
Doesn't that just say it all?

This IS Bush's campaign folks. That 87 BILLION dollars is his campaign money and it is going to cover his ass in Iraq - just enough to claim victory and success....for the election.

10. Thanks for the heads up!
I'll catch the Rerun later tonight!

Glad to see he's getting some face time on the talk shows.

It was so predictable. THe NBC poll has him ahead but in the current MSNBC article he name is not mentioned. It's all about Dean and how Kerry's campaign is faltering.
