This weeks much-hyped bombing resulted in destroying a textile factory.

Yes, a textile factory.

The wedding in Kama Aido, the six Canadian soldiers, the Red Cross hospital (twice), and probably a dozen others we never heard about.

War is a remarkably messy and imprecise way of dealing with things. It also tends to create a whole raft of problems that didn't exist before, while failing to solve whatever it was implemented to fix in the first place.
