* coompares himself to McArthur on live TV
On CNN just about 2 min ago the * was making a speech about how imptortanat our reserves and guardsmen are and he had the audacity to bring up his own self with that of General Douglas McCarthur saying that McArthur, another president and president 43 learned about the National Guard and it's importance. This might sound like a rant but hopefully the text of this speech will be made public and it will seen for what it is. I can't stand anymore of this selfserving egotistic bast(*&. I was yelling f*&^%$ at the tv screen.

23. MacArthur lived there
for many years. It was his favorite place in the world. Believe it or not, during the war he was a national hero.

4. sort of off topic reply
but how often these days do you find yourself shouting things at the tv that you would never DREAM to say in front of a live human being. I was appalled at myself yesterday, the things I screamed at the repugs during their stonewalling session... well, my mother would have washed my mouth out with soap!

18. For the first time in my life...
I actually threw something at the TV yesterday. I have often yelled at thbe Idiot Box, but that is the first time I ever threw anything. Just kind of glad I didn't have a hammer in my hands at the time.

8. I wish I believed in ghosts
Because then I could hope that MacArthur would come back from the dead and punch shrubya in the face and then kick him in the groin when he falls down.

11. Let's see. He's also compared himself to Teddy Roosevelt, Winston Churchil
and, o yeah, Poppy said he and junior were like the Adams Family!

Psychiatrists have a term for this - delusions of grandeur

Definition: a delusion (common in paranoia) that you are much greater and more powerful and influential than you really are

See Also: delusion, megalomania, psychotic belief

killed. My grandpa is really grateful to Truman for firing McArthur. FDR and Truman are his favorite presidents, oh we need more like them, that is people's presidents.

24. That is who I compare him to
Both bush and nixon can't give a press conference without lying through their teeth. Both have very disturbed VPs
And Ashcroft has more than a resembelance to John mitchell.
