3. Today's liberal is tomorrow's conservative
These are conservative issues (or used to be).

Norman is a liberal from way back when, he produced "All in the Family" and "Maude" back in the 70's.

Reagan said all the right things at the right time. IMHO I was hoodwinked. I didn't vote for him twice. Carter was inept when it came to fixing runaway inflation at the time. I don't know how old you are but inflation was 21% at the time and that was devastating. Every time you went to the store prices were higher. Reagan said he could fix it and he did. The only thing he did good IMO.

13. Some of us didn't notice the rising prices because...
...we weren't spending money, because we weren't working. The one thing that stands out in my memory about that era is the scarcity of jobs.
