Should CNN fire Novak?
(over his hand in outing an undercover US intel agent)

Either way, I think CNN should issue a statement. We are talking about a crime of revenge and intimidation that has put the people involved, and the nation at large, at greater risk. Its not hard to see how the word treason applies.

The fact that this was evidently done to keep agents from coming forth with the TRUTH, thereby threatening the official lie, makes the outing, already breathtakingly vile, even more so.

I think CNN should fire Novak immediately. Or at least place him on leave. Maybe an email/fax/phone campaign might force CNN to state whether they support him, and his evident hand in a "high crime" - or not. And a statement from them, or at least a loud call for a statement from them, would likely insure the issue remained in the public eye for some time.

IT is a reporter's job to make known what he can. I agree with NOVAKULA on this one. If he hadn't reported it, someone else would have. The person who needs a shellacking and an outing is the source.
Novak didn't CAUSE the info to be known..he only reported it...whomever is guilty of treason in the WHite House is who needs to be brought to justice.

5. I disagree
He shouldn't be fired but he should definitely be put on leave. He is now the center of a case that could involve treason against our nation. CNN should issue a release and take him off the air.

3. I believe reporters are immune from prosecution in cases such as this

I'm talking specifically in regard to the felony that Novak's "senior administration official" sources committed.

4. They should fire him
Everytime he is on Crossfire he cannot stop drooling and spitting.
Disgusting.
A face for radio.
You can tell he really hates Begala and Carville because he is so much more relaxed on the Capital Gang.
