Test: Is the tide turning?
Here in the middle of Nebraska, I've talked to at least 10 former Republicans who have said, unequivocally, that they will be voting for whoever the Dems field, because they HATE Bush.

That's a start, but I want to see how far reaching this kind of conversion is. I suspect its widespread, and getting wider, so if you've encountered a similar situation as I have, please post here, if only to say "Yeah, I've seen it" and maybe give a rough estimate of how many people you've heard turn on * and his gang of thugs.

2. Yes
Out in California many more center repubs have said that Bush is pushing to far to the right and it seems to only be getting worse for the sorry bastard.

3. A friend of mine who worked for Doofus*
during his first gubernatorial campaign said she will never vote for him again!!

Why? Because of his "Dead or Alive" statement. She said "This is not the Old West. We need a President who understands that"

4. I'm not so sure.
You can find people like this every election. Some people get angry at the candidate of their own party and it's nothing I'd pin any hopes on. What will matter, as it always does, is a candidate's ability to sway undecideds. Unfortunately, undecideds have become increasingly vulnerable to empty rhetoric and appeals to patriotism.

7. Personally,
I haven't seen too many Repubs turn on W. The bright side is that I've talked to a shitload of people who didn't bother voting in the last election and are determined to get this idiot out of office during the next election. I'm guessing that voter participation is going to increase, if not dractically, at least significantly.

DAMMIT! I just realized that I'm out of smokes! <coughcough>
