DU Researchers get Props on Al Giordano's Blog (Huge Audience))

Over at the Democratic Underground( http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=105&topic_id=411977 ) , where this story was brought to my attention,
there are some intellectually honest fact-checkers who have found a possible
connection to their own party, too, in the cocaine-hamburger trail that led to the
Mississippi elementary school cafeteria.

Well, it’s a campaign year. Both parties need cash, I guess.

But next time the U.S. media and government tell you that the narco-traffickers and
"cartels" are South of the Border, think of those kids lined up with their lunch
trays for their Sloppy Joes, and how all that cocaine could have possibly gotten all
the way to Mississippi, through Texas, on a transport route of U.S. military
contractors.

It’s kind of hard to blame the Mexicans and Colombians for that, eh?

And, for bonus points: bankers of what country would have laundered all that money?

1. Cool
some positive representation. It seemed like Andrew Sullivan, Wall Street Journal, and the Sunday Times of London always link the worst possible posts from DU, even though we are hardly a credible news organization. We just do this for fun. If they really wanted credible information off of the net, they should go to a prominent political blog or link to our stories on the front page, not to a silly post where we just have fun.
