18. I guess Wildmon was right about the f-word
c-span just showed a close up quote of the book saying "drugs will fuck you up"

Brian read it as drugs will f you up. Brian calls it "street language".

Brian: what are you trying to do here?
Moore: I'm agreeing with Nancy Reagan (laughter)

28. Lamb was so uptight
Edited on Sun Nov-16-03 09:05 PM by eleny
I've never seen Lamb act like this before. It was subtle. But still, he wasn't his usual self. He seemed really out of his element. Hard to describe since he's always buttoned down. I thought he looked like a guy with an overly tight sphincter, if you know what I mean.

Ooh! Prime Minister's Q&A is on now. Hear! Hear! I love this and wish our presidents had to go thru this kind of thing.

30. Oh yes he was, like Moore was gutter trash befouling his pristine studio
He had this shocked look like you might if you invited a rich uncle to Thanksgiving dinner and he got up on the table to crap on the turkey. I didn't see him laugh once, just a tight little thin-lipped frown the whole time.

32. And the camera hardly went to Lamb at all
I forgot to mention that. That speaks to the comment Babzilla just posted. I wonder if it was prearranged? Lamb is very often shown during his interviews as fas back as I can remember. Maybe he didn't want his reactions to be seen.

And he kept hammering about the money Moore has earned. For a right winger, that's an odd reaction to someone's success. As if Moore has to explain himself. I'm sure Moore went away scratching his head. And what about that question about if Moore actually wrote the book himself because of his generous thanks to his wife and friends for their help? I mean puh-leez. Lamb got most animated when he read Moore's thank-you sentence. At that moment Lamb reminded me more of Tim Russert.

I've gone on long enough. But it was such a weird interview. Moore had to go on and on winging it to make it go anywhere.

35. Lefties aren't suppoesed to be successful
This must so piss off the right. When lefties beat them at their own game by being successful they are hell of annoyed.

In their eyes, lefties are unwashed and unemployed. It must frustrate them no end when they are proved wrong.

33. I didn't think he
(Brian) was much different than usual. But Michael was great in my opinion. I always though he was okay but I was never a big fan of his, but I've been liking him more and more lately (the more I hear him speak). I've never read his books, but now I really want to get "Dude, Where's my Country".

37. I have to agree with you.
When Brian asked Michael about his street language, I'm thinking Brian you are such a winger. Brian even stated that Michael didn't identify with any religion, however Michael stated in his book that he was catholic. Brian did you read the whole book?
