Gee. Freerepublic network (the activist arm of fr) has a whole thang going about memogate, trying to force the expulsion of Rockefeller from the senate intelligence committee.

Check it out. And don't forget to vote in the poll there. It's been freeped, obviously.

7. they took over the poll, lol
And Jim Robinson pulled the thread about this sub-site from freerepublic, which I can't understand! That seems real odd.

11. Perhaps he thought it was a fake? When he saw the poll?
It's a possibility.

6. Okay, am I the only one who doesn't see anything wrong with the memo?
It's a rather reasonable gameplan with a small amount of all the stanard politicking.

Sounds to me like the Republicans keep crying, "The Democrats aren't non-biased enough!"

9. I'm still there with you. I still don't see any scandal there at all.

8. It's actually very sad. Here you have a group of
people who've been so indoctrinated by party propaganda that they're essentially saying:

'Don't make the guys in my party explain why they started this war. They should be allowed to send us off to get killed whenever they want. I have no right to ask questions'.

When party loyalty comes before loyalty to country, you've got a serious problem.

10. reply
These people will never be satisfied until there are 435 Republicans in the House, 100 Republicans in the Senate and 50 Republican governors.

If I were them I'd be having a blast now. This is their golden age, so why not enjoy it, rather than pissing and moaning all the time. It's not going to last forever. Nothing ever does. In 1965 the Democratic Party was unquestionably the nation's majority party. By 1968 everything had changed.
